Penance Service for Holy Week will take place in St. Colmcille’s Church, Kells this Sunday evening at 6pm. All are welcome to attend.
CONFESSIONS DURING HOLY WEEK : ST. MARY’S CHURCH , NAVAN Will be available all day Tuesday the 26th March from 8.00am until 9.00pm and on Holy Thursday the 28th March from 12 noon until 3.00pm. Again all are welcome to attend.
CHRISM MASS:takes place on Wednesday 27th March in the Cathedral at 7pm.Everyone is welcome to attend.
COMMUNION CALLS FOR EASTER: The sick and housebound will be visited during the coming week.
TROCAIRE: Trocaire envelopes are available at the back of the Churches. Please return all Trocaire envelopes by Holy Thursday the 28th March. A collection will be taken up at the Holy Thursday Mass. Any donations outstanding after Easter Sunday should be forwarded directly to Trocaire.
EASTER OFFERINGS: Will be taken up at all masses next weekend.
ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT Will take place after the 7 pm mass this Saturday evening in Kilberry.
Vocations Notice This Palm Sunday we enter into the journey of Jesus who gives us His Body and Blood, who carries His cross, who lies in the cavern of the dead and who opens the doors of death for us. As the Lord goes on His saving way, He calls young men to the Sacred Priesthood to hold up His Body, to be bearers of His Precious Blood, to show the world His saving Cross.to tell all of His promise of life over death. Become His Priest and open the way to God for others.
Join us at the Chrism Mass in the Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar on Wednesday 27th March at 7pm. Come and see the majesty of the Priesthood of Jesus Christ. Also join in the Vocations Night Prayer in your Parish Church on Holy Thursday Night. The evening of the Last Supper is the birth of the Priesthood. Come pray and let your vocation grow too.
CEMETERY SUNDAY Will take place on Saturday the 8th June in Kilberry and Sunday 9th June in Gibbstown.Masses will be offered for all the deceased in our Cemeteries.
Wilkinstown Active Retirement: The chiropodist will attend our next meeting on Wednesday 27th.March,from 9.30am. Carmel Dowdall will do her chaerobics exercise class from11.45 until 12.30.pm. Everyone welcome.
Halla Bhaile Ghib/Gibbstown Hall AGM will take place on Wednesday 3rd April 2024 at 8.30pm. All are welcome. Bingo every Sunday night in Gibbstown Hall at 8pm. All welcome.

Upcoming events
Kilberry Church was built in 1839. It replaced an earlier L-shaped chapel, which appears on Larkin’s map in 1812. The 1839 church was a cruciform in shape with galleries on each of the side aisle
